Events Near Me ("we", "this site") helps you find local events. This page explains what information is involved when you use it, in plain language.

No accounts, no sign-up

You never need to create an account or log in to search or browse events on this site.

Location

When you type a city/zip code or click "Use my location," that location is sent from your browser to our server only to look up nearby events and, if needed, to convert a typed place name into coordinates. We do not store your location or search history on our servers. If you use "Use my location," your browser will separately ask for your permission first — we never access your location without that browser-level consent.

Third-party services we rely on

This site is a thin layer over a few external services, each with its own privacy practices:

• Ticketmaster Discovery API — provides the event listings shown (titles, dates, venues, ticket links). Buying a ticket takes you to Ticketmaster's own site, governed by their privacy policy.
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim — converts a typed city/zip into map coordinates.
• OpenStreetMap / Leaflet — powers the interactive map tiles shown with search results.

Requests to these services may be logged by them independently of this site; we don't control their retention practices.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
